Staff members of Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Achsah Y. Eiceman Licensed Funeral Director

Achsah is originally from Lebanon County. She is a 1993 graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College with an Associates degree in Liberal Arts/Social Sciences. In 1995, Achsah graduated from Northampton Area Community College with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Funeral Service Education. Achsah has been associated with Whelan-Schwartz Funeral Home since 2001.

David J. Burawski

David lives in Shillington. David graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Economics. He spent more than a decade selling life insurance to families. David is in charge of pre need at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home. His interests are sports, travel and history. David and his wife, Niki, have two children.

Fredrick Lenich

Fred is a native of Reading, a graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School and Wyomissing Ply Tech. Fred is married, has 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and lives in Exeter Township. Prior to his retirement from Doehler-Jarvis he spent the last 15 years of his career as maintenance supervisor.

Morris "Mo" Demsko

After graduating from McKeesport High School Mo went into the US Army and served in the 4th. Armored Div. stationed in Germany. After being discharged from the US Army he attended the Pennsylvania State Police Academy and began a 30 year career as a Pennsylvania State Trooper. He also went on to flight school and became a helicopter pilot for the State Police. After leaving the State Police Mo assumed a position with Security Guards Inc. in management and administration. Mo and his wife Ann spend time enjoying their two children and two grandchildren and their entire family. They are active members of St. Margaret's Roman Catholic Church in Reading and Allentown Cursillo.
