Robert Metzler

Robert J. Metzler, 84, Wyomissing, passed away Feb. 7, 2007, at 9:31 p.m. in the residence of his daughter, Roberta Metzler, with whom he resided. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth M. (Stokes) Metzler.
Born Nov. 24, 1922, in Lancaster, County, he was a son of the late Omar and Myrtle (Groff) Metzler.
Metzler is also survived by a son, Ronald Metzler, Leesport; and four other daughters: Patricia Metzler, Tuckerton; Linda and Debra Metzler, both of Blandon; and Jeannie Metzler, Frackville.
Other survivors include three sisters.
There are also two grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
