Adalgisa Altagracia Mendez Puello, of Fleetwood, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the age of 61. Born in Dominican Republic, on November 1, 1964, Adalgisa was deeply cherished by her family and friends. Adalgisa is survived by her beloved sons, Hector Vivenes, husband of Gabriela and Cristian Vivenes, husband of Janibell; her devoted father, Juan Mendez; and her loving mother, Reina Puello ; 5 grandchildren and 4 sisters and 4 brothers. She touched the lives of many known for her warm spirit and dedication to her family.

Services honoring Adalgisa will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, starting at 9:00am at the Victory Baptist Church 1059 Victory Circle Reading, PA 19605. Burial to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery at 1:00pm.

Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street Reading, PA is in charge of arrangements.

Nacida en República Dominicana el 1 de noviembre de 1964, Adalgisa era muy querida por su familia y amigos. Le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Hector Vivenes, esposo de Gabriela, y Cristian Vivenes, esposo de Janibell; su devoto padre, Juan Méndez; y su amorosa madre, Reina Puello; cinco nietos, cuatro hermanas y cuatro hermanos. Su calidez humana y dedicación a su familia dejaron huella en la vida de muchos.

El servicio fúnebre en honor a Adalgisa se llevará a cabo el viernes 18 de septiembre de 2026, a partir de las 9:00 a. m., en la Iglesia Bautista Victory, ubicada en 1059 Victory Circle, Reading, PA 19605. El sepelio se realizará a la 1:00 p. m. en el Cementerio Charles Evans.La funeraria Whelan Schwartz, ubicada en 444 North 9th Street, Reading, PA, se encarga de los arreglos.Su familia invita a quienes conocieron y amaron a Adalgisa a unirse a ellos para celebrar su vida y recordar la alegría que brindó a quienes la rodeaban.
