Adam Cortes

Adam Cortes, 35, of Glendale, CO, formerly of Reading, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026. Born in Reading, Adam was the son of Hector Cortes, and Elizabeth Feldbaum (Ortiz). For almost 20 years Adam worked as a hairdresser in the cosmetology industry honing his craft and creating lasting relationships along the way. He loved spending time with his dog Frankie, connecting with family/friends, and leading with kindness and compassion.

In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his siblings, April Feldbaum, Hector Cortes Jr., Tanya Cortes, Milady Cortes, and Greg Cortes, he is also survived by his stepmother, Marie Cortes; along with his fiancé, Patrick, grandmother, nieces/nephews, and countless family members.

Adam is predeceased by his brother, Matthew L. Feldbaum.

Funeral service for Adam will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street, Reading, PA. Interment to follow in Charles Evans Cemetery.
