Agnes Foscone

Agnes(Penturelli) Foscone, 85, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Berks Heim. Born in Reading, Mrs. Foscone was the daughter of the late Vincenzo (James) and Mary (Biscanti) Penturelli. She was preceded in death by her first husband Bernard R. Reitz, Sr. in 1979 and her second husband Dominic Foscone in 1982. Mrs. Foscone is survived by her children Bernard R. Reitz, Jr., husband of Barbara Reitz of Fleetwood; Steven M. Reitz of Sinking Spring; Lorajean(Reitz) Miller of Mohnton and Kathleen (Reitz) Coldren of Kenhorst and her 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Benardo Penturelli of Exeter Township and her sister RoseAnn Mosser of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Penturelli and Sisters Stella Strunk-Calderon and Michelina Tranquillo. Agnes was devoted to her family. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was a member of Hillside Christian Church. For many years she was the manager and later owner of Foscone's Golf Center in Sinking Spring, fondly known for its gooney golf.
Memorial Service will be held in Hillside Christian Church, 3322 East Galen Hall Road, Reinholds, PA Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 4:00 pm. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
