Alice W. Flood, 78, formerly of Reading, died March 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Reading, where she had been a patient 14 months.
Her husband, Harry A. Flood, died Aug. 27, 1971.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Laura (Roper) Wall.
Flood was employed for several years as a home health aide by the Berks Visiting Nurses Association, retiring in 1980.
Surviving are two daughters, Marie A. (Flood) Rhodes, Reading, and Diana L. Flood, Exeter Township; and a son, Harry A. Jr., York.
Other survivors include four grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery.
