Ana Soto

Ana Luz (Maldonado) Soto, 64, of Reading, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 at 5:27 pm in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. She was the wife of Carlos Soto. Born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Soto was the daughter of the late Asuncion Maldonado-Rodriguez and Paula (Morales) Maldonado. She was a member of Saint Peter the Apostle RCC. Mrs. Soto is survived by her children Denise C. Soto of Reading; Carlos S. Soto, Jr. of Pittsburgh, 6 grandchildren; siblings Maria S. Maldonado; Aida Soto Maldonado; Marta Maldonado; Alma N. Maldonado; Gerladina Maldonado; Carmen D. Collazo Maldonado; Jose A. Maldonado; Virginia Maldonado and Miguel A. Maldondo.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Peter the Apostle RCC at the convenience of the family. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street is in charge of arrangements.
