Anita Helm

Anita M. Helm, 85, of Blandon, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late James C. Helm who passed away on August 14, 2017. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Elizabeth (Bloch) Dry. During her life she was employed as a secretary for the Muhlenberg School District for 20 years, retiring in 1994. Anita is survived by her daughter, Marie Anita Howe, of Las Vegas Nevada; granddaughter, Nicole Francis, of Hatboro; Michele Assetto of Leesburg, Virginia; Julian Guerra of Las Vegas, Nevada; stepdaughter Martha Bergman; and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Elijah Reinert and second husband Leroy Schaeffer.
Graveside service will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park 390 W. Neversink Rd. Reading,Pa 19606 on Saturday, Sepetmber 15, 2018 at 11:00am. Online condolences may be made to www.whelanschwartz.com.
