Ann Marie DeWald

Ann Marie DeWald, 75, of Reading, loving mother, aunt and Godmother, received her angel wings on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of John DeWald. Born in Reading, Ann was the daughter of the late Dominic and Minnie Marabella) Constantino. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Stella Groshel and JoAnn Constantino. She is survived by her son, Nick DeWald, partner of Yashira Roman of Reading, her niece, Susan Costa-Beddall and great nephew (and godson) Joe Beddall.

Ann was a graduate of the McCann School of Business and worked as a Medical Secretary, last working at Callowhill Medical. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and her sons friends. She treated everybody with respect and love. She enjoyed going to see movies, going out to eat at restaurants, and watching basketball at home with her son. She loved the Sixers and would be excited to watch the games on tv. Ann and her son spent many great times together with beautiful memories that will always be remembered. She could always be found in the kitchen creating new recipes to enjoy during the games and Sunday dinners. Everybody loved the cakes Ann would make for birthdays and other special occasions.

She will be remembered most for her love of family - cooking beautiful meals and creating a loving home. Her laughter and kindness remain with all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Interment will be held at Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading at 8:30 am. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street, Reading is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at
