Arlene Garman

Arlene P. Garman, 86, of Hamburg, passed away November 23, 2010 at 11:15 am in her residence. She was the wife of the late Clair M. Garman who passed away October 7, 2003. Born in Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Helen (Decker) Moyer. She was employed as a press operator by Landy, Towel and Linen in Reading. Mrs. Garman is survived by her children Shirlene D. Peiffer at home, Debra J. Garman at home, Sandra L. wife of William Dietrich of Mohrsville, Bernard C. husband of Joann Garman of Hamburg and Russell E. Garman of Reading. She was preceded in death by her son, Girard G. Garman husband of Donna Garman of West Virginia who passed away August 4, 1992. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, siblings Blanche German of Reading, Doris Hoffman of New Mexico and Margaret Stettenbaugh of Florida and was preceded in death by her brother Harry Moyer.
