Arline Steely

Arline R.S. Steely, 96, formerly of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Franklin S. and Sarah (Schearer) Steely. Ms. Steely was a 1938 graduate of Reading High School and was a member of the former Saint Thomas United Church of Christ in Reading. She was a clerk at Schlechter's and Gordon Jewelers. There are no immediate survivors.
Graveside Service will be held in Alsace Cemetery, 2155 Kutztown Road, Muhlenberg Township, Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10:00 am. Reverend Charles S. Nease, Jr. will officiate.
