Betty Jane Carabello

Betty Jane Carabello, 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 5:55 a.m. at Wyomissing Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Marcelino Carabello, who passed away on September 26, 2007.

Born in Schuylkill County, Betty was the daughter of the late Oscar and Esther (Fisher) Henne. She was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to her family and was deeply loved by all who knew her. Betty found joy in the simple things—she especially loved playing bingo on the weekends, watching her daily game shows, and absolutely loved watching wrestling.

She is survived by her daughters Gloria M. Beidelman, wife of Rodney Beidelman of Wyomissing, and Julia M. Carabello of Reading; her four cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Morgan, Sarah, and Jose; her eleven adored great-grandchildren, Jace, Alexa, Connor, Sarah, Jayleen, David, Meya, Jasper, Austin, Connor, and Evelyn; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Dunnavant and Ruth Redding.
