Betty Emerich

Betty J. Emerich, 82, of Manor Care West Reading, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, August 28, 2011 in the Reading Hospital. There are no immediate survivors, but she had many friends who will miss her dearly, including Carol Good and her husband Steve. Betty was born on December 15, 1928 to the late Ralph and Jennie Emerich. She lived in many different places in the Reading area and worked for a time as a housekeeper. She faithfully attended the S. 7th St. Christian Fellowship for many years and demonstrated a simple, yet profound faith. She loved God and Jesus with all her heart. Betty made friends wherever she went and enjoyed doing errands for others. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the S. 7th St. Christian Fellowship, 417 S. 7th St., Reading. Interment will be at the Aulenbach Cemetery, Mt. Penn
