Carole Ruth ONeal passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022 at Hickory House Skilled Nursing Facility in Honey Brook, PA.
Carole was predeceased by her Father Vincent Lambrecht, Sr., Mother Florence Lambrecht, and Husband John ONeal.
Carole is survived by her sister Joanne Henning, brother- in- law Charles Henning, her brother Vincent Lambrecht, Jr, sister- in -law Pat Lambrecht, daughter Cheryl Elsnic, son-in-law Steven Elsnic, 2 Grandchildren; Tiffany Marie Haines, Amanda Lynn Price, and 3 great-grandchildren; Illyanna DeLuca, Brayden Cox and Harper Ketler.
Carole is also survived by 4 nieces; Barbara Holzhauer, Jeanne Hoppe, Kathy McTaggart, Jennifer Lambrecht, and 2 Nephews; Paul Henning and Michael Lambrecht.
Carole and John ONeal lived in Wyomissing for over 30 years where Carole worked as a Psychologist for Berks County, PA, giving support to low-income families and working with children with disabilities.
Carole loved to spend her free time painting. Several of her masterpieces hung all around her home. She loved to read and was an avid pet lover. Her latest rescue cat “Buddy”, was the love of her life.
Carole attended Atonement Lutheran Church in Wyomisssing, PA. Carole was active in her church where she was commissioned as a Stephen Minister since 2004, and received a Stephen Minister Award in April 2022.
Carole cherished the relationships with her friends. She had endless respect for them as they continued to assist and support her by creating a “Circle of Care” around her; right up to her passing.
Friends and family will gather for a small memorial service at Atonement Lutheran Church located at 5 Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA on Monday, October 17th 2022 at 2:00pm, where Carole’s ashes will be interned along with her husband John.
