Catharine A. Schrantz, 95, formerly of the Episcopal House, North Ninth Street, died Feb. 3 at 5:15 p.m. in Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, West Reading, where she had resided two years.
Her husband, Lester Schrantz, died in 1988.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie (Reinard) Klemmer.
Surviving is a son, Richard E., Reading.
Services will be private. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
