David J. Hughes, 57, of Monroe Avenue, Spring Township, died of natural causes March 20 at 1:10 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where he had been a patient since March 1.
He was the husband of Patricia A. (Esterline) Hughes.
Born in Reading, he was a son of Anna L. (Hunter) Hughes, Womelsdorf, and the late David A. Hughes.
Hughes is also survived by a daughter, Michelle L. (Hughes) Routson, Newmanstown, and a son, Brandon M., West Lawn.
Other survivors include a sister, Carol (Hughes) Schnabel, Muhlenberg Township; and two brothers, William, Bernville and Robert, Womelsdorf.
Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Spring Township.
