Dawn A. Sheaman, 77, of Bernville, passed away at her residence on Saturday, March 21, 2026. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Dawn was predeceased by her loving husband, George Sheaman. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul Null and Mildred (Underkoffler) Parkhouse.

She was also predeceased by her son, Scott Lempergel, and her grandson, Matthew Lempergel. Dawn is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Angie (Marc) Forman, and her stepchildren, Cynthia (Keith) Kissling, Tracey (Matthew) York, Matthew (Christine) Sheaman, and Georgeiann (Kevin) Sklenarik. She was also predeceased by her stepdaughter, Bobbie (Jim) Posta.

Dawn is further survived by her granddaughter, Shai Forman, and her many step-grandchildren: Lindsay (Justin) Ford, Taylor (Sarah) Kissling, Michael (Julia) Kissling, Chandra (Jonathan) Darwin, Shane Swope, Ethan York, Zachary Sheaman, Zebadiah Sheaman, Ezekiel Sheaman, Nicholas Sklenarik, Abigail Sklenarik, Trentin Posta, Gavin Posta, and Ava Posta. She is also survived by her brother, Dennis (Fran) Null; her niece, Amber (Dan) Rizzo; and many extended family members and friends.

Dawn will be remembered for her kind and compassionate spirit. She had a gentle heart, and in later years, developed a deep love for animals, never turning away a stray cat in need and always offering warmth, care, and a safe place to belong. In her younger years, she found joy in simple pleasures, especially gardening and canning, and she cherished time spent outdoors. She loved floating down the Schuylkill River on inner tubes with family and spending time at Kernsville Dam, as well as ice skating during the winter months, moments that brought her both happiness and connection with those she loved. In her later years, she continued to care for her dogs and cats, treating each one as a beloved member of her family.

She also cherished the simple pleasures in life, warm summer days, relaxing by the pool, and spending time surrounded by her loved ones and her pets. Those moments, filled with laughter, sunshine, and companionship, were among her happiest.

Private services will be held to honor her life. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity or to a local animal rescue or humane society in her memory, continuing her lifelong compassion for animals.
