Dolores 'Lolene'

Dolores Alvarez-Medina Lolene, 85, of Reading, passed away at Home June 8, 2013. Lolene was born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico on April 6, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Margaro Alvarez and Patricia Medina. She was pre-deceased by her husband Ramiro Garay in 1978. Survivors include 4 daughters: Gladys Bowser, Nellie Feliciano, Marilyn Rolon, and Helen Rivera; 6 sons: Hector Manuel Alvarez, George Alvarez, Herman Alvarez, Peter Alvarez, Dennis Alvarez, and Raymond Alvarez. Lolene was pre-deceased by 6 sons. She has 2 sisters in Puerto Rico; 10 step brothers and sisters; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church for many years.

Burial will follow after Mass in Gethsemane Cemetery.
