Donna L. Mayo, 48, Reading, died Feb. 20, 2008, at 9:01 p.m. in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of William L. Mayo.
Born Aug. 12, 1959, in Reading, she was a daughter of Janice M. (Schlappich) Homan, Reading; and the late Charles L. Homan.
She last worked as a nurse's aide for ManorCare, Muhlenberg Township, for five years, last working in 2007.
She was a 1977 Reading High School graduate.
She is also survived by 15 children: Yolanda Suber Mayo; Candance Mayo-Heath; Tasha, Tia, Tianna, Racine, Xavier, Damon, Kanon, Lamar, Rae Dawn, Jayden K. and Tanjalya Mayo; Franky Munoz; and Shakera Scott.
Other survivors include a sister, Sandra L. Homan, Reading; and three brothers: Tod L., Reading; Rodney A., Sinking Spring; and Matthew M., Bernville.
There are also 32 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Charles R. Homan, in 1996.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. Ninth St., Reading, with the Rev. Gerald F. Prentice Jr., officiating. Friends will be received Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
