Dorothy (Sternowski) Sandman, 85, of Reading, passed away Monday, January 10, 2010 at St. Joseph's Medical Center, where she had been a patient since Sunday.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Sternowski and Josephine (Michalski) Sternowski.
She was the wife of Kenneth F. Sandman, who passed away on February 22, 1991.
She is survived by her son: Kenneth W. Sandman of Reading.
There is also a grandson: Kenneth R. Sandman of Reading.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was pre deceased by her companion of 20 years: Anthony E. Sonnenberg, who passed away in April of 2009; and several siblings.
Services and entombment at Forest Hills Memorial Park will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc., Reading, are in charge of arrangements.
