Douglas Parsons

Douglas D. Parsons, 80, of Reading, passed away August 23, 2012 in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Lura M. (Beacher) Parsons. Born in Baltimore, Maryland he was the son of the late Elwood and Anna (Dennis) Parsons. He served in The United States Army in Korea and was a power line construction worker for IBEW. In addition to his wife Mr. Parsons is survived by his daughters Carol A. Parsons of Lewes, Delaware and Denise M. Parsons of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by his grandchildren Tim Duncan and Marcia Duncan. Also surviving is his sister Shirley Hudson of Salisbury, Maryland.
