Eleanore Snyder

Eleanore J. Snyder, 90, of Reading, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 22,2018 at 12:40 am in her residence. She was the wife of the late Bertram H. Snyder who passed away March 8, 1977. Born in Reading, Mrs. Snyder was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Bienis) Comisac. She was a bench hand at the former AT&T for 27 years retiring in 1986. Mrs. Snyder is survived by her children Linda L. Eckert, wife of Larry I. Eckert of Temple and Michael B. Snyder, husband of Elizabeth J. Snyder of Reinholds and her grandchildren Troy Snyder husband of Missey Snyder and Carissa Reinheimer wife of Kevin Reinheimer and her 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 am. Reverend Paul L. Jones will officiate. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends in Whelan Schwartz Friday 9:00-10:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 3893 Adler Place Suite 170 Bethlehem, PA 18017 in memory of Mrs. Eleanore J. Snyder.
