Elena Velez

Elena Velez, 78, of Reading passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Berks Heim. Born on October 29, 1946, in Yaco, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Jorge Velez and Bernardina Mercado Velez. During her life, she volunteered in various senior centers until retirement. Elena loved to cook and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Olga M. Trinidad,  of Reading; daughter, Naome Nieto, of Brick, New Jersey; son, Carlos R. Correa, of Puerto Rico; David Muentes, of Reading; grandchildren, Maritza, Gladys, Olga, Carlos C, Carlos N, Dimas, Veronika; 10 great-grandchildren and 1 brother.
