Eligio Colon Sr

Eligio C. Colon Sr., 85, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2017 in ManorCare Sinking Spring. He was the beloved husband of the late Nydia E. Colon who passed away on May 16, 2015. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico he was the son of the late Tomas and Francisca (Cruz) Colon. Eligio is survived by his children, Eligio Colon Jr., husband of Nivia, of Reading; Ellis Colon, husband of Milagros, of Reading; Dennis Colon, husband of Adelaida, of Reading; Wanda N. Colon-Mate wife of Martin, of LA, California. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many brothers and sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 322 South 5th Street Reading, PA 19602, on Wednesday January 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Family will receive family and friends from 9:30am - 11:00am, at the church.
