Emilia Albarran, 89, Reading, died Aug. 29, 2007, at 9 a.m. in Reading Hospital, where she had been a patient since Aug. 17. Her husband, Gabriel Albarran, died in 1997.
She was born in Puerto Rico.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. PeterA�a�a��s Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
Surviving are three daughters: Gloria Albarran, Laureldale; Norma Cortez, New Haven, Conn.; and Elba Franco, in Puerto Rico.
Other survivors include three sons: Obduio Albarran, Reading; Hermino Albarran, Reading; and Ramon Albarran, in New Mexico.
There also are 20 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Angel Luis Garcia officiating. Viewing will be Friday 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery.
