Gerald V. Smith

Gerald V. Smith, 82, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at Sinking Spring Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Downingtown, Mr. Smith was the son of the late Lewis L. and Edith J. (Clark) Smith. He received a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering and was employed as an Electrical Engineer. Mr. Smith is survived by his children Jennefer Smith of Allentown; Dawn Smith of Allentown; Brandon Smith of Birdsboro; his 10 grandchildren and his siblings Connie London; Michael Smith; Samuel Smith; Edith Boddy; Mildred Smith; Ronald Smith and was preceded in death by Lewis Smith; Barbara Mullen; Jane Brickus; Carl Smith; Anna Woodward and Earl Smith. Mr. Smith was a loving and amazing father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, who they call Pop-Pop.
