Harold Schlegel, Jr.

Harold J. “Butch” Schlegel, Jr., 71, of Mount Penn, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 in his residence.  He is survived by his companion of 30 years, Judy E. Reed with whom he last resided.  Born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Mr. Schlegel was the son of the late Harold J. Schlegel, Sr. and Florence P. (Miller) Schlegel.  He served in the United States Marine Corp during Vietnam and was employed by Dubid as an industrial sewing machine operator.  Mr. Schlegel is also survived by his daughter Tiffany Nestor of Lancaster and his step-daughter Danielle Reed, wife of Hugo Jimenez and 2 step-grandchildren Alana Rivera and Gabriella Jimenez.  He is also survived by his siblings Robert J. Schlegel, husband of LoriBeth Schlegel of Stony Creek Mills; Ryan J. Schlegel a resident of Berks Heim; Deborah Fessett, wife of Sheldon Fessett of Reading and Darrell J. Schlegel of Georgia
