Howard Mintzer, Sr

Howard N. "Munch" Mintzer, Sr., 75, of Reading, passed away on June 11, 2015 at The Reading Hospital and Medical Center. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Earl and Bertha (Gerber) Mintzer. Howard was employed as a dock worker for Branch Motors for 20 years. He later was employed as a foster parent for Concern Foster Home and Pine Brook Foster Home. He is survived by his wife: Jeryl A. (Matz) Mintzer, Children: Howard N. Mintzer, Jr., Michael A. Mintzer, and Wayne J. Mintzer. 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. No funeral services will be held. The family requests no flowers be sent.
