Irene Stahl

Irene T. Stahl, 89, of Reading, passed away Monday, August 20, 2012 in her residence of natural causes. She was the wife of the late Harold J. Stahl who passed away in 1976. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Isaac N. and Charlotte (Price) Todd. She was a member of Faith Evangelical Congregational Church, Temple and was the owner/operator of Petticoat Corner at 8th & Oley Streets in Reading until her retirement in 1995. She was also a Republican State Committee Women for Berks County in the 1980's and was co-founder of Delmarva Republican Women's Club. She was currently a precinct Republican Committee Women in Reading. Mrs. Stahl is survived by her son H. John Stahl, Jr. of Reading, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren as well as her brother Robert Todd of Salisbury, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah Y. Leonti.
