Israel Mercado

Israel Mercado, 50, of Reading, passed away June 2, 2011 in his residence at 10:22 am. Born in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of Felcita(Perez) Quiones of Reading and the late Guillermo Mercado. Israel was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. In addition to his mother he is survived by his children Elizabeth Mercado of Reading, Marci Mercado Wagner of North Carolina, Felicita Mercado of New Holland, Israel Mercado, Jr. of Brooklyn, NY, Raymond Mercado of Texas, Johnny Cole of Johnsville, Tenn., and Israel Mercado of Texas. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and his siblings Guillermo Mercado of Leesport, Charlie Mercado of Reading, Franklin Mercado of Wernersville, Steven Mercado of Reading, Maribel Ziegler of Blandon and step brother Raymond Mercado of Brooklyn, NY. Also surviving is his loving companion of 31 years Maria L. Koller.
