James Cummings, Jr

James C. Cummings, Jr., 92, formerly of Reading, passed away May 24, 2010 in Berks County Home-Berks Heim where he resided for 4 years. He was the husband of the late Hattie A. (Eyrich) Cummings who passed away 12-15-1996. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late James C., Sr. and Violet E. Cummings. Mr. Cummings was employed by Berks Products as an electrician and oil burner installer retiring in 1965. He served in the United States Army. He is survived by his daughter Patricia A. Himmelberger of Reading, sons, Howard W. Cummings of Reading, Richard L. Cummings of Reading, James C. Cummings IV of Reading, David A. Cummings of Reading, Thomas E. Cummings and Thurman A. Cummings. He was preceded in death by sons, Daniel and Robert. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with his sister June Yohn of Shillington.
