Janice L. Berube Janice L. Berube, 83, of Brecknock Township, Mohnton, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 9th, 2013, at home and surrounded by her loving family. Her friends and family also knew Janice as Tootie or Gram. She was the widow of Arthur J. Berube who passed away in 2009. Born in Reading, Gram was the daughter of the late Lester and Myrtle (Folk) Green. Survivors include her children, Deborah M. (Berube) Gentile, wife of Samuel Gentile, Jr.; Arthur J. Berube, Jr.; Jennifer (Pacura) Davis, wife of Scott Davis; Mary Pacura; Bohdan Pacura, husband of Cassandra Pacura; 6 grandchildren, Melissa (Gentile) Spang, wife of Eric Spang; Lisa Gentile, Ashlee Gentile, Marissa Pacura, Luke Pacura, and Christian Pacura; and 5 great grandchildren, Zak Spang, Zoey Spang, Alexis Spang, Tina Spang, and Mya Spang. Additional survivors include siblings, Faye (Green) Beissel and Butch Green. Mrs. Berube is predeceased by her sister, Etta-Jay (Green) Drexel. Gram was a foster mother with Concern for over 30 years. Gram will be affectionately remembered by just under 100 foster children for whom she cared for. She also worked as a sewing machine operator for Vanity Fair and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
