Janice I. DeNunzio

Janice I. DeNunzio, 89, of Exeter Township, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at the Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Frank DeNunzio, who passed away on January 17, 2010. They were married on February 28, 1954, and shared 55 years of marriage together. Born in Reading, on December 12, 1936, she was the daughter of the late James Gehris and Evelyn (Kalbach) Gehris. Janice was a graduate of Reading High School. During her life she worked for Godiva Chocolate Factory for over 20 years until retirement.

Janice loved the nature, bird watching, enjoyed intricate coloring, words searches and she enjoyed playing Bingo.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Sherrie L. Rathman, wife of Michael Rathman, of Muhlenberg Township; daughter, Deborah E. DeSanto, wife of Anthony “Tony” DeSanto, of Exeter Township; grandchildren, Anthony J. DeSanto, Austin J. DeSanto, Chris M. Rathman, Matthew J. Rathman, Michael Rathamn Jr., Eva V. Baskerville; and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Atlas, Zeppelen Rumor and Gianna.

Janice was predeceased by her son, Frank DeNunzio Jr., who passed away on June 22, 2009, grandson, Frank James DeNunzio III., who passed away on January 18, 2009; and granddaughter, Christina R. DeNunzio who passed away on March 14, 2014.
