Jean E. Miller, 81, formerly of Reading, died Dec. 27 at 10:20 p.m. in Lancaster Community General Hospital.
She was taken to the hospital from Beverly Health Care, Lancaster.
She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Miller.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Anna C. (Clouser) Brown.
Miller was employed for 10 years as a waitress by the West Reading Diner, retiring in 1982.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, West Reading.
Surviving is a sister, Joyce (Brown) Cullen, Leesport.
Services will be private in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale.
