Joan E. Lord, 68, died of natural causes Aug. 6 at 6:20 p.m. in her residence on McCoy Lane, Bern Township.
She was the wife of William P. Lord.
Born in Meriden, Conn., she was a daughter of the late Robert and Susan (Sulik) Stevens.
Lord was employed for 11 years as a corporate secretary by Lord Manufacturing Co., Hamburg, retiring in 2000.
She was a graduate of Classical High School, Providence, R.I., and attended the Rhode Island College of Education.
Lord is also survived by three sons: William D., Rhinelander, Wis.; Robert B., McKinney, Texas; and Richard D., Vincennes, Ind.
Other survivors include a sister, Barbara (Stevens) Sekellick, West Sand Lake, N.Y.; a brother, Robert Stevens Jr., Chelmsford, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
Services will be private. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
