John D. Petrak

John D. Petrak, 75, of Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, passed away Monday, August 17, 2026 at 1:22 am in his residence. He was the husband of Cheryl J. (Black) Petrak. Born in Ellwood City, PA, Mr. Petrak was the son of the late Lawrence and Ruth (Mayne) Petrak. He received an associate degree in Engineering and was employed by RPA Engineering in Spring Township as a professional engineer. In addition to his wife Mr. Petrak is survived by his son Jason D. Petrak husband of Carolyn A. Petrak of Wilmington, Delaware and his grandchildren Josephine and Christian. He is also survived by his sister Susan Clyde of Ellwood City, PA and brother Walter Petrak husband of Diane Petrak of New Brighton, PA.
