Joseph J. Krezdorn, Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we must share the unexpected passing of Joseph John Krezdorn Jr. He was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He passed peacefully in his home in Bern Township on June 11, 2024, at 80 years old.

Joe was born in Reading on December 11, 1943, and predeceased by his parents Joseph J. Krezdorn Sr. and Margaret (Trumbore) Krezdorn. He was raised in Berkshire Heights where he met the love of his life and wife of 60 years, Donna Marie (Brenner) Krezdorn. They were married on July 13, 1963. Together they raised two children Joseph J. Krezdorn III, husband of Donna E. (Ebersole) Krezdorn and Kim M. (Krezdorn) Faust.

Joe and Donna have five grandchildren: Kelly J. (Krezdorn) Steinke, wife of Eric M. Steinke, Kristina M. Krezdorn, Raymond D. Smith, husband of Ashley N. (Alderfer) Smith, Amanda L. (Krezdorn) Henn, wife of Nicholas A. Henn and Russ Heck. They were also blessed with eight great grandchildren: Bella, Olivia, Landen, Jackson, Aria, Atley, Luke and Peter.

Joe was a dedicated trucker driver for most of his life. When he wasn’t driving truck, he was riding his Harley with Donna or spending time with his family by the pool. Some of Joe’s favorite local rides were the POW MIA ride and the Toys for Tots ride. Joe was always the life of the party sharing crazy stories about his days driving truck and the shenanigans that he got into. Joe was a courageous cancer survivor. He fought and beat throat cancer and was in remission for 8 years.

There will be a graveside ceremony for family and friends at the Forest Hills Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 26th at 10:00 am. In Lieu of flowers, if you are so inclined, donations can be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Saint Jude’s.
