Josephine Babczak

Josephine Babczak, 86, of Reading, passed away in the Mifflin Center of natural causes on April 3, 2018. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Stanislav and Ludwica (Pankola) Bialas. Josie once worked at Berkshire Knitting Mills and retired from Sears & Roebuck as a cashier. She was the wife of Thomas E. Babczak. Josie is also survived by her son Douglas a. Babczak, daughter in law JoAnne Gehret and grandson Tyler V. Babczak of Reading. Daughter Debbie LeVaugh, wife of Richard LeVaugh and granddaughter Carly M. Helm of Gulf Breeze, Florida. She was preceded in death by her siblings Stella Bialas of Laureldale, Walter Bialas of Kenhorst, Helen Bialas of Kenhorst and Genevieve Gutierrez of Lake Placid Florida and Mary Shermot of Shillington.
Graveside Service will be held in Laurelale Cemetery 4631 Pottsville Pike, Muhlenberg Township, Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reverend Kerry L. Hicks will officiate.
