Joyce Augustine

Joyce L. Augustine, 87, of Reading, passed away on November 3, 2013 at Manor Care Sinking Spring. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Elmer W. and Leona H. (Brunner) Hetrich. Joyce was employed as a clerk with the 5 & 10 in Reading, and later as a telegrapher with the Reading Railroad. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph D. Augustine and children: Dennis J. Augustine and Tracy L. Augustine. Survivors: She is survived by her cousin: Barbara A. Noecker, and her daughter, Cynthia A. Noecker of West Lawn. Services: A visitation will take place at Whelan-Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street, Reading, PA 19601 on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 1-2:00PM. A burial will take place immediately after at Schwarzwald Cemetery in Exeter Twp.
