Leon Readinger

Leon L. Readinger, 90, of Earl Twp. passed away January 26, 2012 in St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Alsace Twp. he was the son of the late Rueben and Ida (Bowers) Readinger. Leon was employed at Boyertown Machine as a machine operator. He was an Army veteran serving in World War II. Surviving are 2 sons: Lynn L. Readinger of Birdsboro and Leonard Readinger of Boyertown, he was predeceased by a daughter Darlene Wise. There are 3 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Other survivors include a brother Irvin Readinger of Stony Creek and two sisters Elsie Mayberry of Reading and Erma of Leesport.
