It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Luis Angel Reyes Torres, who departed this life on September 23, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on February 17, 1958, in Coamo, Puerto Rico, Luis was a cherished member of his community and a devoted pastor who touched countless lives through his ministry.
Luis is survived children Luis Angel Reyes Jr., Elizabeth Diaz, Jessica Perez, , Angel Luis Reyes, Adelaida I. Reyes; siblings, Juanita, Luz, Sonia, Jesus, Jose, Santos, 21 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his unwavering faith, compassionate spirit, and commitment to serving others. His legacy of love and devotion to his family and community will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.Funeral services will be held to honor Luis’s remarkable life and contributions.
Viewing will be held at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9th Street Reading, PA 19601 on Monday, October 5, 2026 from 10:00am-11:00am. Service to follow at 11:00am. Burial will take place at Charles Evans Cemetery He will be missed dearly, and his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us all.
