Madeline Neider

Madeline M. Neider, 88, of Brecknock Twp., passed away February 18, 2011 at 9:53 PM in Manor Care Sinking Spring where she resided since February 8, 2005. She was the wife of Raymond H. Neider, Sr. who passed away December 19, 1995. Born in Birdsboro on December 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Frances (Fercera) DiGuglielmo. Mrs. Neider was employed as a seamstress at Reading Laundry for 16 years retiring in 1983. Surviving are 2 daughters Dolly A. (Neider) wife of Donald Brown of Gouglersville and Margaret M. (Neider) Flowers of Simpsonville, SC; 11 grandchildren Michele, George, Kelly, Jon, Chris, Dina, Shannon, Trish, Raymond, Dana and Derrick; 17 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; a brother Frank DiGuglielmo of York; and 6 sisters Rose Panasik of Easton, Anne Miller of Birdsboro, Sandy Gechter of Emmaus, Mary Dierolf of York and Nancy Gurlie of North Carolina. She was predeceased by a daughter Susie, a son Raymond H. Neider, Jr.and a brother Nicholas DiGuglielmo. Services will be Friday at 11:00 AM in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street, Reading. Interment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
