Marie L. Rebholtz, 82, Reading, died July 28, 2007, at 12:30 a.m. in ManorCare Health Services, Muhlenberg Township, where she had resided 16 days.
Born Oct. 2, 1924, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late George C. Rebholtz and Florence May (Schultz) Rebholtz.
Marie was employed as a receptionist by the Wyomissing Lodge for two years, retiring in 1995. She also worked as a receptionist for 30 years for Dr. Harry K. Willitts, Reading. Prior to that, she worked in the office of Nolde & Horst Co., Reading, as a key puncher.
She was a 1942 graduate of Reading High School.
She was a member of St. LukeA�a�a��s Lutheran Church, Reading.
Surviving are two brothers, George P. and Franklin L. Rebholtz, both of Reading.
Other survivors include a dear cousin, Marion Lewis, Wyomissing; and a dear second cousin, Patricia (Epler) Levengood, Boyertown.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. in the Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc., 444 N. Ninth St., with the Rev. Jeffrey Scholl officiating. Burial will be in Laureldale Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday from noon to 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
