Maritza Lopez

Maritza Lopez, 50, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2023.  Born in Bronx, New York, Maritza was the daughter of Olga (Santiago) Lopez of Reading and the late Miguel Lopez.  She was a clinical assistant at Pivot Physical Therapy last working on October 4, 2023.  In addition to her mother, Maritza is survived by her companion Adam D. Ruiz with whom she last resided; her sons Adam D. Ruiz, II and Aiden D. Ruiz, both at home; step-daughters Unique A. Ruiz and Sole G. Ruiz both of Reading and her grandson Josiah A. Adamski.  She is also survived by her brothers Edgardo Medrano, Jr. of Bronx, New York and Alexander K. Almodovar of California. 

Funeral Service will be held at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home 444 North 9^th Street Reading, Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 6:00 pm.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
