Marjorie Walker

Marjorie Walker 89, of Reading, passed away on Sunday February 5, 2017 in Berks Heim. Born in Barbados, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Ursula Walker. Mrs. Walker was employed by Berks Heim as a housekeeper for 20 years. She also enjoyed cooking for her family, as well as her many activities at Washington Presbyterian Church, and singing every chance she got. She is survived by her two grandchildren Jessica and Jayden Levan and was preceded in death by her sister Nesta Stoute; son Osmond Walker; and a granddaughter Miranda Levan.
Funeral Service will take place on February 9, 2017 at 11 Am in Washington Presbyterian Church 715 North 10th Street Reading, PA 19604. Reverend Laddie Benton will officiate. Interment will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends at Washington Presbyterian Church from 10AM-11AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Walker's memory to: Washington Presbyterian Church at above address.
