Mary G. Fackler, 78, of Womelsdorf, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Reading Hospital. Born on January 10, 1948, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Mary lived a life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her craft as a florist in the floral industry. Mary was the beloved wife of 45 years of Scott W. Fackler. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Helen G. (Gicker) Houck. Mary was a graduate of Wilson High School. Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Scott Fackler; her cherished daughter, April Kubovcsak, wife of Joseph, of Rehoboth Beach, DE; her beloved son, Larry Loyd Cassler, husband of Alexander Soroka, of Rehoboth Beach, DE; grandchildren, Amanda Kubovcsak, Sean Kubovcsak; sister, Irene Sands, widow of Robert Sands, of West Reading; and sister-in-law, Donna Houck, widow of Carl Houck, of Bernville. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, cherished for her warm spirit, kindness, and passion for bringing beauty into the world through her floral arrangements.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Clair Houck, Ruth Houck, Pearl Zimmerman, June Lesher, and Carl Houck. Mary's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her impact on the floral community will be felt for years to come.
