Mary Shalters

Mary E. Shalters, 98, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 8:43 am in Berks County Home-Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late James W. Shalters, II who passed away November 15 , 1992. Born in Lebanon County, Mrs. Shalters was the daughter of the late Albert and Polly (Patches) Kline. She was a 1938 graduate of Derry Township High School and worked as a waitress at Exeter Family Restaurant. She is survived by her daughter Salliann L. O'Brien, wife of Joseph F. O'Brien of Bernville and her son James W. Shalters, III, a resident at Berks Heim and her 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marlene Seiders in 2007.
