May Light

May Light, 92, of Laureldale, passed away March 23, 2013 at 10:40 pm in St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Raymond F. Light who passed away March 10, 2007. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Benton Boone Ritz and Bessie Eleanor(Gehret) Ritz. She was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church. She was a hosiery packer for Rosedale Knitting Mill for 5 years. Mrs. Light is survived by her son Michael P. Light husband of Dianne L. Light of Ruscombmanor Township. She is also survived by her grandchildren Amy L. Shinkus wife of Alan Shinkus and Brandon P. Light. Also surviving is her brother Sherwood Ritz of Leesport.
