Michael J. Brooks, 24, of Penn Avenue, West Reading, died of natural causes April 20 in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Reading, he was a son of Daniel Brooks and Susan OBoyle, both of Reading.
Brooks was employed for the past three years as a line leader by the Premium Beverage Co., Wyomissing.
Brooks, who was the fiancee of Jennifer L. Godek, with whom he resided, is also survived by a son, Michael J. Jr., Reading.
Other survivors include two brothers, Daniel R. Brooks, and Matthew J. Hughes, and a sister, Nicole A. Hughes, all of Reading.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Whelan-Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.
