Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Francisco Castro and Ana Lydia Gonzalez.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Ariel Castro, Reading; Luz D. Castro, West Chester; Francis I. Castro, Springfield, Mass.; Luis and Noemi Castro, Reading, with whom he resided; Francisco Castro, Lebanon; Alicia Castro, wife of Rubin Irizarry, in Puerto Rico; Noel Castro, Reading; Evelyn Castro, in Puerto Rico; Raul Castro, Reading; and Monserrate Castro, Reading.
Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
